T.F. Lee is having a tussle with the grippe, though somewhat better, he is still confined to the house.

 

Mrs. Amelia Converse and her daughter, Mrs. Leo Chapel, took dinner Saturday at her brother, Willis Williams’.

 

Lue Smith sold his team to Ross Paulson and bought a colt of H. Pietenpol.

 

Dale Lee is helping his brother Ernest cut wood.

 

The Oscar Jahr and Leo Chapel families spent Monday evening at Ernest Lee’s.

 

Frances Smith visited Mrs. H. Berg Monday afternoon.

 

Master Donald Baker came to visit at grandpa Downer’s for a while.

 

Ernest Schmidtke is working at Lue Smith’s for the summer.

 

Grant Johnson had a birthday Sunday.  Grant didn’t vote for Wilson last fall but is going to next time.

 

Carl Berg had the misfortune to run the end of a rusty wire into his right hand last Monday, which is giving him considerable pain and discomfort.

 

John Kintzele returned Saturday from a several day business trip to Fond du Lac.

 

Glen Johnson was injured on Monday by a horse rearing up and striking him in the shoulder, breaking the shoulder bone and inflicting a painful injury, since which time hd has been under a doctor’s care.
