It is a little cold for moving, but a family moved into the house of Chas. Hayden.


The heavy electric rain and wind storm Sunday night came a little as a surprise.  It was this year the coldest Easter weather we have had for some years.


Mrs. Thelma Maack from Crevity arrived Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Degener.


L.A. Reichert made a business trip to Granton between trains on Tuesday.


Mrs. Chas. Ferrell returned Sunday from Nebraska with her brother-in-law.


Carl Voight went to Nasonville Monday night to attend a meeting of farmers to consider the organization of a farmer’s Co-operative cheese factory somewhere at Ed Ingel’s or Chas. Ingel’s corner.  It required a subscription of 50 shares.  A total of 17 shares was subscribe, the share at $10.00.  This brings the matter undecided yet.


Wm. Gantwort, our blacksmith, returned Friday afternoon from Dakota.  He was willing and ready to go to work again, in fact he would have come back a few weeks ago if circumstances would have allowed it.


H. Roehl and H. Schultz, with his wood saw outfit, arrived Tuesday afternoon to saw up his years wood supply.


Our school wil have a week’s vacation from Monday on.  This week Thursday will be be the school play "Mother Goose."


Herman Henning transacted business at Granton between trains on Tuesday.
