Miss Hattie Viergutz is in Milwaukee since last week.

 

Miss Elinor Eubanks is visiting Mrs. Geo. Budge at St. Paul since Sunday.

 

A new piano is adorning the home of Rev. Reiff since Tuesday.

 

John Hefty of Chili transacted business here Tuesday.

 

Ernest Riedel came home from Marshfield and Sundayed with his mother.

 

Miss Lillian Yorkston spent the first of the week at Geo. Ure’s in Neillsville.

 

Gertrude Davis has been on the sick list since Sunday, suffering with an attack of appendicitis.

 

Arthur Phipps bought a Napanee silo of Vet Marsh, Monday.

 

Born to Mr. and Mrs. August Riemer a baby boy last Thurs.

 

Ed Strey baled hay for Gus Balke the first of the week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neinas spent Tuesday afternoon at Chili.

 

Dan Rausch transacted business at Marshfield, Tuesday.

 

D. N. Klein transacted business at Chili, on Tuesday.

 

Harry Rose is scaling bolts at Chili for P. J. Kemmeter.

 

Will Shafer came home from Whitehall, Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Herman Wegner was taken very sick with heart trouble Monday night.

 

Mrs. August Schmoll and Mrs. Gerzemehle were Neillsville visitors Tuesday.

 

Edwin Schaefer of the Ridge left for Glenbeulah Wednesday on a several weeks visit.

 

John Mooney, John Bladl and Mrs. Gus. Bergeman were Chili visitors Wednesday.

 

Frank Hirn of St. Paul arrived here Wednesday morning for a horse buying stay.  He wants a car load.

 

Ben Stubbs came home from an extended visit with relatives down the line, Wednesday.

 

Bolts are being delivered at the rail yard here in great quantities daily.

 

Glasses fitted at Amidon’s drug store.

 

Mrs. Burt of Menominee has spent the past two weeks here with her daughter Mrs. I. W. Morris.

 

Hale Davis left for Escanada, Mich., Saturday night, where he has business interests.

 

Mrs. A. Viergutz and son Reinhold spent Monday with friends at Neillsville.

 

Roy Hart was home from school last week on account of entertaining the measles.

 

August Snyder spent several days of last week here at the store engaged with taking an inventory of his stock.

 

Mrs. Hattie Starks is here from Nebraska, since last week Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. August Lautenbach, George Nichols and Bert Gullick were county seat visitors, Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gardner welcomed the advent of a baby boy at their home last Thursday night.

 

Mrs. Leland Davis has been ill with the measles since Sunday.  Mrs. Augusta Riedel is caring for her.

 

Nice line of high grade chocolates at Amidon’s drug store.

 

Chas. Chapel and family after a couple weeks stay at Geo. Hart’s went home to Marshfield, Monday morning.

 

Ray Campbell last week purchased a one third interest in the Dave Steel blacksmith shop and is at work therein learning the grade.
