Pawula, Josephine (11 APR 1959)

 

Wearing a gown of 3 tiered Chantilly lace and carrying a bouquet of six orchids, Miss Josephine Pawula, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pawula, Chicago, became the bride of Mr. Stanley Neiman Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Neiman Sr. of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) Saturday, April 11th, 1959.

 

The couple was united at St. Stanislaus B and M Catholic Church, Chicago, during a Nuptial Mass conducted at 11 o’clock by Rev. Joseph Polinski, C.R.

 

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and preceding them were the four bridal attendants, ring bearer and flower girl.

 

Her attendants wore white nylon organdy dresses ballerina length.  They were Terry Naleway, maid of honor, Janice Pretzel, Beverly Messina and Jacqueline Jaroscz.  They carried bouquets of carnations sprayed orchid shape into a fan.  They wore the bride’s gift of pearl earrings and gloves.

 

Miss Rosemarie Neiman, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.  She was dressed in a long dress similar to the bridesmaids, and carried a basket of white carnations.

 

Mr. Raymond Gurbacki was his cousin’s best man.  Mr. Richard Teclaw and Norbert Teclaw, Chester Kukileka, friends of the groom, served as ushers.

 

Steve Prus was ring bearer.  He was attired, as was the groom, in white jacket and black trousers.  His boutonniere was white carnations, while the groom was stephanotis.

 

The organist played "Mother, at Your Feet I’m Kneeling," as Josephine place a bouquet of red roses on the altar of the Blessed Virgin.

 

The  brid’s mother wore a beige lace dress with beige accessories.  Her corsage was of white orchid.

 

The mother of the groom wore blue silk print dress with accessories and a white orchid.

 

Breakfast was served at the bride’s house for the family.

 

The evening reception, at which 400 guests were received, was held at the Ironsides Post with Mattie Madura’s Orchestra playing.

 

The young couple will reside in Chicago, Ill.  The out of town guests were from: Thorp, River Falls, La Crosse, Sheboygan Falls, Wausau, Oshkosh, Milwaukee, Wis., New Castle, Pa., Atlanta, Ga., and Pocahontas, Iowa.
