An equity meeting was held last week and another one on Monday.  The organization was perfected and the following officers were elected: President, H. Nebel; Vice Pres., Wm. Wagner; Secretary and Treasurer, W.R. Happe.

 

Webb M. Winn and his son Floyd were here on business Monday.

 

Al Snow shipped some stock from Lindsey Monday morning.

 

Mrs. C.G. Maack, who suffered with a bad cold, is getting over it quite nicely at present.

 

Frank Schultz went to Neillsville with Tom Gibson and Phillip Trevean and took out his second citizen papers.

 

Clark Waterman made his regular trip to Granton Sunday.

 

The dance given by the Schoengarth orchestra drew quite a crowd Saturday evening.

 

Wm. Gantworth, our blacksmith, bout an 8-horse gasoline engine and he will soon be prepared to do all kinds of work that will add to his line.

 

Mrs. O.F. Walter and son Wilbur arrived Tuesday morning on a few weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. A. Hogenson.  It is about two years since they left here for Freeport, Ill., where Mr. Walter has employment.
