Christie Items (7 July 1911)

 

Thomas Chadwick died at his home near Christie June 26.

 

Miss Hannah Campbell had the misfortune to sprain her ankle last week.

 

Quite a few people have gone to Eau Claire River blueberrying.

 

The Nick and matt Schafer and H. Silkey homes are receiving a visit from their sister who lives in Dodge Co.

 

Quite a few attended church here Sunday. Rev. Marsh preached a very interesting sermon.

 

Farmers in this vicinity are cutting hay and rye.

 

Will Hannah who had his shoulder thrown out of joint some time ago is getting along nicely.  He cannot use his wrist and hand yet as the cords are affected.

 

It is reported that A. Martindale will soon be back from Dakota.
