Dehart, Carol Jean (Marriage - 10 August 1963)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged August 10 uniting in marriage Miss Carol Jean Dehart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Dehart of Rt. 3 Neillsville, and John W. Bredlau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bredlau of the Town of York. The double ring ceremony was performed in the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, by the Rev. Jacob Grether.  Baskets of mixed flowers adorned the altar.

 

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a white street length dress with matching accessories. She carried a bridal bouquet of yellow and white roses and stephanotis.

 

Mrs. Anne Detmers served her sister as matron of honor.  Her bridesmaid was Mrs. Elaine Benn, a sister of the groom.

 

James Filitz of Neillsville was bestman, and Larry Benn served as groomsman. Ushers were Alfred Bredlau of Neillsville and Larry Kadolph of Loyal.

 

Dennis Benn of Jackson carried the rings on a white satin pillow, and Cindy Detmers was flowergirl.

 

Nuptial music was played by Mrs. Jacob Grether.

 

Following the ceremony 125 guests were entertained at a reception at the Dehart home in the Town of Levis.

 

The bride is a 1963 graduate of the Neillsville High School and is employed in the office of The Clark County Press.  Mr. Bredlau was graduated in 1960 from Loyal High School and works in a cheese factory near Loyal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bredlau are residing in Loyal after a wedding trip to Milwaukee.
