Pachal, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Nov 19, 1907-Nov 1957)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pachal of Loyal celebrated their golden wedding August 31 with a reception at Braun’s party rooms and then supper was served at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

 

Those attending were their four children: Mr. and Mrs. Louie Pachal, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pachal and family, Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Goutcher and family of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and family, Neillsville.

 

Their grandchildren attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Ted Briski and Larry of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Langfeldt and Jack of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Pachal and Jimmy of Loyal.

 

Other relatives and friends attending were:  Mr. and Mrs. John Jerovetz and Ruth of Stangelville, Mrs. Donald Rassmussen and Carol of Denmark, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uhlers, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Uhlers, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Doperalski and Frank Walecka of Kewaunee, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hrobsky, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hrobsky, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Pilgrim, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pilgrim and family of Wausau;

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Roadt, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Newman and family of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Louie Walters of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. George Klein, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shefehik, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schoettler, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Seeman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hinkleman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Romaine Rossow and family, Mrs. Edd Dobbe, Mrs. Herman Schefus and Rev. and Mrs. John Pfohl of Loyal.

 

Rev. Pfohl gave a brief summary of the life of the honored couple.

 

Mr. Pachal was born in Wausau and when he was 1 ½ years old, his father died and he was raised by his grandparents in Kewaunee. There he met the former Agnes Roadt and they were married at St. John’s Church of Krak on Nov. 19, 1907.

 

They farmed there for 1 ½ years then moved to Rhinelander for nine months. In 1910 they moved to the town of Beaver on a farm which was their home for 39 years and 5 months.

 

Then they built their present home in the city of Loyal in 1948 where they presently reside.

 

They have 4 children, 15 grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

 

The grandchildren also held a mock wedding.
