Reineke, Barbara A. (10 OCT 1959)

The altar of St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, was decorated with pink gladioli and white pompons for the marriage of Barbara A. Reineke and Ronald R. Altmann.  Rev. Donald Wilger officiated at the ten o’clock Nuptial Mass on Saturday, Oct. 10, 1959.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reineke, Rt. No. 3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Altmann, Marshfield, Wis.

The bride wore a waltz length dress of silk organza over taffeta.  It featured fitted bodice with Sabrina neckline trimmed with Alencon lace appliques and full skirt.  Her veil of silk illusion fell from a pillbox hat of lace and pearls.  She carried a bouquet of red roses and white pompons.

Miss Beverly Reineke was her sister’s maid of honor and Malta Bell, Marshfield was bridesmaid.  They wore Azalea pink waltz length dresses of silk organza styled with scoop neckline, puff sleeves and full skirt tied with a velvet sash.  Their crescent shape bouquets were of spider chrysanthemums and daisies.

Best man was Clem Fisher, Milwaukee, and groomsman was Joe Beuer, Wausau.  Ushers were William Reineke, brother of the bride, and Jack Altmann, brother of the groom.

A dinner and reception for 100 guests was held at Paris Avenue Nite Club, Rozellville.

The bride attended Greenwood High School and is employed by Robert Klinnes, Marshfield, as bookkeeper.  The groom attended Columbus High School and Wausau School for Business and is now a bookkeeper at Har Mac, Inc., Stratford.

After a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin the couple will reside at 208 E. Arnold Street, Marshfield.
