Bandor, Victoria (25 DEC 1882 - 1 NOV 1959)
Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph (Victoria) Bandor and her husband were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary’s Polish National Church at Lublin, with Rev. Leon Dobrzanski officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
The couple was killed in an accident while enroute to church Sunday morning north of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), about 10 o’clock.
Joseph Bandor was born in Poland March 19, 1880 and Mrs. Bandor was born in Poland on Dec. 25, 1882. They were married in Chicago 58 years ago, at which time they made their home on a farm in the Town of Colburn, Chippewa County, where they have since resided. They retired three years ago, but continued to live in the Town of Colburn.
Surviving are four sons, Jess of Thorp, Joe of Milwaukee, Bruno and Louis of rural Stanley, five daughters, Mrs. Art (Bernice) Speener; Mrs. Stanley (Estelle) Kulik; Mrs. Roland (Josephine) Wilk; Mrs. Charles (Jessica) Witt, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Jack (Lucille) LaRue of North Hollywood, Calif. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bandor is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Lezenza and Mrs. Mary Zmuda, both of Chicago. Mr. Bandor is survived by one brother, living in Poland.
One son preceded them in death in 1937.
