Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Krause and daughter of Milwaukee spent the holiday weekends with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause.


Christmas Day guests at the Ray Kammerer home were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalf of Spencer and Ed Polley and Pat Kammerer of Wausau.


Mrs. Fred Steinich of Menomonee Falls spent several days last week at the Bert Hayden home.


Holiday guests at the Max Opelt home were their sons, John Opelt of Ft. Gordon, Ga., and Douglas of St. Paul, Minn.


Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kurth and their daughter were in Wausau one evening last week, where they attended a choral concert in which their daughter, Sandra, took part.  Sandra returned with them to spend the holidays at home.


Mrs. Josephine Thiede of Marshfield was a Christmas Day guest of her son, Eugene Thiede, and his family. 


Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger spent Christmas Eve and day in Antigo with the Eugene Trimberger family.


Holiday guests at the Vern Smith home were Miss Gail Smith of Eau Claire, Raymond Smith of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Northup of Kansasville.


Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger drove to Menasha December 23 for a visit with their daughter, Elaine, who teaches in a parochial school there.  In the evening they attended her school program.


Mrs. Ralph Ayala and daughters of Chicago spent Christmas week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero.  Mr. Ayala will come for New Year’s Day and will be accompanied home by his family.


Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert were Christmas Day guests of their son, Ted, and his family in Tomah.


Miss Jean Porath of Minneap0olis spent a few days last week at the Lyle Fero home.


Rev. and Mrs. F. C. Benecke held open house Sunday at the parsonage for members of the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton and Christ Lutheran Church in Chili.


Mr. and Mrs. Lynne Russell and Stevie were Christmas Day guests of her mother, Mrs. Clarence Froeba, in Loyal.


Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spry were Christmas Day guests at the Lloyd Spry home.


Christmas Day guests at the Beeckler sisters’ home were Ray Smith of Milwaukee, Mrs. Earl Pickett and Ione of Spencer, Jessie Beeckler of Neillsville and Mabel Williams.


Mrs. Jesse Davis of Racine was a Christmas Day guest of Mrs. Ethel Berg.
