Friends and relatives of Miss Barbara Lee Munson, route 3, New Richmond, and Daniel Gerald Arola, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Arola of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), gathered at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in New Richmond Saturday afternoon, July 1, 1961, at 1:30 o’clock to witness their marriage before Rev. O.H. Martin.

Mrs. Jay Jorgenson was soloist and sang "Because" and "The Lord’s Prayer."  Mrs. George Maki of Edgar presided at the organ.

Escorted tot eh altar by her father, the bride appeared in a floor length gown of silk organza and Chantilly lace with re-embroidered appliques and butterfly embellishing the skirt.  Iridescents and seed pearls detailed the scalloped portrait neckline.  Her veil of hand rolled silk illusion was caught to a circular wreath centered by an organza rose trimmed with iridescents and seed pearls.  The bridal bouquet was a cascade bouquet of white carnations centered by an orchid.

Mrs. Beverly Ruff was matron of honor in a silk organza street length dress in aqua color designed with a scoop neckline, Short sleeves and fitted bodice.  A cummerbund held by a cabbage rose highlighted the bell shaped  skirt.

Miss Carol Munson and Miss Vernetta Jo Munson were bridesmaids, wearing similar styled dresses as the matron of honor.  All wore matching hats in silk organza highlighted by a small cabbage rose.

Dawn Klongland and Judith Kay Ruff appeared as flower girls in white floor length dresses of silk organza.
