When a wedding trip of a tripof southern states is completed, the new Mr. and Mrs. Donald Leroy Hansen will make their home in Orlando, Fla.

 

Mrs. Hansen, the former Sandra Jo Rahm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milliam A. Rahm and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Hansen all of Spencer.

 

A reception and supper at the home of the bride’s parents followed the 2 p.m. ceremony in Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, Saturday, Sept. 21, at which the Rev. John Pfohl officiated Guests numbered 150. The bride had Miss Donna Brue of Spencer as her maid of honor, and her cousins, Lois Schier and Gloria Vanderhoof, both of Marshfield, and two friends, Patricia Pagelsdorf, Loyal, and Joanne Wolk, Colby, were her bridesmaids.

 

The bride’s gown featured a chantilly lace bodice with scalloped neckline. Long pointed sleeves, and a lace peplum over a nylon tiered skirt. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white swansonia.

 

He attendants wore white floor-length gowns with matching jackets with tiers of alternating net lace over net forming the skirts. Their cascade bouquets were of white mums and red carnations.

 

Allen Rasmussen, served his friend as best man and the groomsmen were Victor Schier, Marshfield, cousin of the bride: Ted Chipman, Wautoma, cousin of the groom; Terry Secora, Milwaukee, cousin of the groom; and Emery Rahm, Spencer, brother of the bride.

 

Allen Hansen, Spencer, brother of the groom, and Ronald Rahm, Marshfield, cousin of the bride, ushered the guests.

 

Marlene Rollins opened gifts and Carolyn Pagelsdorf and Norita Schmidtke were in charge of the guest book, and Mrs. David Vanderhoof, aunt of the bride, cut the wedding cake.

 

The bride’s mother wore an aqua tweed suit with black accessories and the groom’s mother wore a navy blue dress with pink accessories.

 

A wedding dance was held in the Eagles Hall in Marshfield in the evening.

 

The bride is a 1957 graduate of the Loyal High School and the groom attended the Spencer High School. She has been employed with Thorp Finance Corp., Marshfield, and he has been engaged in farming at Route 2, Spencer.

 

Guests came from Milwaukee, Marshfield, Wautoma, Red Granite, Loyal, Spencer, and surrounding vicinities.
