Baehr, Alma D. #2 (19 FEB 1890 - 29 NOV 1961)

*note - Death date taken from another obituary for Alma

Funeral services for Mrs. George Baehr were held Saturday, Dec. 2 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee.  Rev. H. Timmerman officiated with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Vernon, Elmer and Earl Baehr, Don and Melvin Nevela and P. Knappel.  In charge of the floral offerings were Mesdames Ed Miller, Herb Wilhelmi, Harold Pfalsgraf, Florence Pederson and Pearl Bedroske.

During the service vocal selections were rendered by Mrs. Dorothy Klabon, with Mrs. Herman Rabska accompanying on the organ.

Mrs. Baehr, nee Alma Doris Parge, was born Feb. 19, 1890 in Clark County, Wis.  On April 18, 1912, she united in marriage to George Baehr in a ceremony performed at Dorchester.  Since that time the couple has resided on a farm in the Town of Hixon.

Her passing to eternity came as a shock to her family and friends as she suffered a fatal heart attack at her home early Wednesday evening, Dec. 6th (this has to be an incorrect date, as her funeral was held on Dec. 2nd).

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Vernon and Earl y of Withee, and Elmer of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Toivo Nevela, Thorp; Mrs. Lorraine Knoppal, Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Mrs. Gertrude Radamacher, Withee; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Emma Ewert, Fond du Lac, and two brothers, Charles and Otto Parge, British Columbia, Canada.
