Methodist & United Church (VBS Opens - 1964)

 

The Neillsville Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ are conducting a union Vacation Bible School. Classes began Monday for children who will be in kindergarten this fall to the eighth grade, inclusive.  The Rev. W. C. Koehler is superintendent.  He is assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Mauer.

 

Each child attending will be provided with workbooks and craft material.  Refreshments will be served every day.

 

The committee in charge consists of Earl Ruedy and Mrs. Donald Schwantes, recording secretary.  The staff is composed of: Mrs. Herbert Rhoades, Mrs. Charles Diers, Mrs. Lawrence Stanley, Sally Meier, Mrs. Sam Ray, Mrs. E. J. Steiger, Mrs. Gary Corey, Mrs. W. C. Koehler, Mrs. Robert Peters as song leader, and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz.  Assistants include: Carol Hrasky, Sally Gress, Ann Lukes, Jo Ann Bollom, Margaret Stanley, Marilyn Anding, Sherri Ray, Patricia Perrine, Nancy Hicks, Kathy Bremer, Rae Ann Moen and Jane Vine.
