Mrs. J. Christenson and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Spry of Lansing, Mich., were Sunday afte4rnoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Franz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were Sunday dinner guests at the Clarence Verhulst home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Wickham and son, Michael, of Milwaukee visited over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Einar Jackson. They were accompanied on their return by her brother, Duane Jackson, who is visiting at the Wickham home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neilsen entertained Sunday evening at a picnic supper in honor of the 12th birthday of their son, Harris.  Guests were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen, and Mrs. John Nielsen of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Aage Nielsen and family, Miss Elenor Schwarze, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Gatz and family, Alice Lindner (some portion cut off here).

 

Mrs. Kenneth Worden visited in Eau Claire Friday.

 

Mrs. George Caliebe, Mrs. Martin C. Zickert and Miss Louise Keiner spent Friday afternoon in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede and daughter, Roxanne, of Granton visited Sunday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Walter Swieso.  Roxanne remained to spend a week with her grandmother.

 

Rev. Edward Hartung of St. Mary’s Catholic Church is attending a Marynoll Biblical Institute at Glen Ellyn, Ill., from June 29, to August 5.  Rev. Mulert of Sparta is taking his place.
