Washburn (13 August 1964)

Most of the farmers are busy with their combining.  Most of the early oats are turning out real good. The later oats seems to be some lighter.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Spiegel and family, and mother, Mrs. Frank Kuhl, attended the wedding of Miss Pearl Kuhl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kuhl of Menomonee Falls, and Michael Rynski, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield, Saturday, afternoon. Mr. Rynski is taking his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and family attended the wedding of Sharon Vandeberg and Herbert Aleckson in Marshfield Saturday afternoon.

Irving Stevens was a patient in Memorial Hospital from Thursday night until Sunday afternoon with acute arthritis in his right arm.  Billie Kuhn is assisting with the chores and work.
