Taylor, Dorothy Jane (Marriage - 12 September 1964)

Bouquets of white chrysanthemums graced the altar of the Black River Falls Methodist Church for the wedding Saturday of Dorothy Jane Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Taylor of Rt. 3, Black River Falls, and Donald J. Havlicek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., of Neillsville.  The Rev. L. Keith Hanley officiated at a double ring ceremony, with the father of the bride giving her in marriage.

The bride entered the church wearing a floor length gown of white satin, which featured a scalloped neckline.  It was accented with beaded appliqués on the bodice. The full skirt was swept into a chapel train. Her elbow length veil was attached to a crown of seed pearls and rhinestones.  She carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses.

The bridal attendants were Betty Taylor, as maid of honor, and Jane Erickson as bridesmaid.

Bestman was Donald Jelinek.  Lawrence Kyle served as groomsman.  Ushers were Walter Wucki and Donald Diers, both of Neillsville.

Mrs. Rose Peasley, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Kathryn Cole, sang, "The Wedding Prayer" and "O Perfect Love."

The bride is a graduate of Black River Falls High School and has been employed in an office. The groom works at the Nelson Muffler plant in Neillsville.  They will reside on Rt. 2, Neillsville.
