Frank Waterman moved last week into the house on the farm of H. Dankemyer.
Dr. Houseley occupies now the house bought of Frank Waterman, and has his office at the same place. He has everything very handy now.
Wm. Neinas dug the cellar for his new house and will commence laying the wall right away so he can build his new house this fall, and move in before winter, if it doesn’t come too early.
The inside work of the church will soon be finished and painting can be commenced with most any time.
Potatoes are coming in quite freely now. Anybody having good barley to dispose of should get in communication with H. Degener. He is going to ship a few cars this and next week.
The little child of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Hoffman became quite ill last Friday and in spite of the best efforts he died …(some words missing) afternoon at 3 o’clock. Burial was held Tuesday morning. A number of the nearest relatives came to sympathize with the bereaved parents who miss the little child very much.
