Braun, June Elizabeth (09 May 1959)
Wedding vows were said Saturday, May 9, 1959, by Miss June Elizabeth Braun and Ronald Hoeser.
The ceremony was held at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, with the Rev. N.E. King officiating. A dinner was given in the church hall and a reception and buffet supper were held in Braun’s Bowling Alleys. Music was by St. Anthony’s choir.
Miss Adeline Lesar of Madison was maid of honor and Miss Barbara Hoeser, Loyal, sister of the broom, was bridesmaid.
Dale Hoeser of Milwaukee, the groom’s brother, was best man and Le Roy Merlak, Eau Claire, was groomsman.
For the ceremony the bride wore a floor length gown of white tulle with a fitted bodice styled with a Sabrina neckline and short, shirred sleeves, with a redingote of embroidered tulle over the bouffant skirt. Her flowers were pink Cymbidium orchids surrounded by lily of the valley. Her waist length veil of tulle was attached to a shell cap trimmed with sequins.
The street-length dresses of her aides were of aqua sheer over taffeta with matching pearl trimmed head band. Pink rosebuds and white daisies were in their bouquets.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield. The groom attended Loyal schools.
When the new Mr. and Mrs. Hoeser return from a honeymoon in southern Wisconsin they will make their home in Loyal.
Ushers were Howard Beaver, Watertown and Bob Kujawa, Stevens Point, uncles of the groom.
