Dan Timerson and wife drove down and spent Sunday at the Horace Lawrence home on the Ridge.


Jos. Rondorf, Earl Lawrence, John Vande Berg and Wm. O’Brien delivered some cows to a Mr. Brown at Neillsville Friday.


Pear Pease is assisting Mrs. Susie Benedict with her household duties since Monday.


Sam Gibson arrived here from Texas Thursday for a short stay with relatives.  He returned to his home Monday. His daughter Henrietta, who has been making an extended visit at the Sam Adams home, returned home with him.


There will be a chicken pie social at the home of Mrs. E.M. Lawrence Friday evening, Oct. 17th.  A cordial invitation is extended to all.


Roy Lawrence returned home from the Ridge Friday where he has been filing silos in that vicinity.


Abram Vandeberg purchased three calves of Wm. Campbell last week.


Earl Lawrence purchased three cows of the same party one day last week.


Mrs. Humiston is visiting at the W.E. Benedict home.


Abie Turner, Melvin Lawrence and Victory Krejci are building a house for Widow Johnson.


Jay, Merton and Pearl Davis and three other lady friends drove out from Marshfield Sunday and spent the day visiting between the W.E. Benedict and Jesse Mortimer homes.  They also attended the M.E. services in the afternoon.


Hans Olson had the misfortune to have a colt get cut in the wire fences Thursday.


Ray Mortimer has returned from his visit at Chilton, Wis.


Ray Mortimer and Miss Minnie Dean took supper with Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Rowe Sunday night.
