We were visited by a snowstorm Monday.

 

The chicken pie sociable at Mrs. Edna Lawrence’s Friday evening was largely attended.  About eighty were present.  $18.80 was taken in.

 

Miss Viola Alton is staying with her sister, Mrs. Timerson.

 

Wm. Benedict and wife are supporting a new driving horse.

 

Wm. And Ernest Rowe raised their silos last week.

 

Abram Vande Berg had the misfortune to lost one of his horses last Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Humiston returned to her home at Lake Mills Sunday, after a visit in this vicinity.

 

Alvin Vande Berg and wife came Sunday morning for an extended visit under the parental roof.

 

Some from this vicinity attended the auction at the old Southwick place on Monday. 

 

Walter Rowe had the misfortune to get the four fingers on his left hand taken off in the gearing of his silo filler while filling the silo at his place Saturday.  Dr. Ross was called immediately.

 

John Vande Berg delivered a veal calf and some oats to Neillsville on Monday.  He brought home a new Fairbanks Morse feed mill.
