Globe (3 December 1964)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow returned to their home, Saturday after a three-week stay in Watertown. They were accompanied by Mrs. Richard Krehnke and her sister, Mrs. Viola Vaught and son of Watertown. They returned to their home Sunday afternoon. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux spent Sunday afternoon and evening with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family.

 

Donald Kalsow, Louis Dux, Gordon Thoma, Henry Thoma, Hans Kalsow and several others were among the lucky deer hunters of the Globe area this year.

 

Kurt Schoenherr of Columbus spent several days during the hunting season with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux.

 

Gene Schoenherr of near Granton spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family.  He also got a deer.

 

Louis Dux attended a meeting in Westby Saturday.

 

Walter Grap of Milwaukee spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Martha Grap, and took in few days of hunting.  Sunday afternoon he returned home, taking his mother along.  She will visit her children and families during the winter months.
