Lange, Frank Edward (24 December 1877 - 9 December 1964)

The Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, officiated at funeral services Saturday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Frank E. Lange, 86, of Neillsville, who died here December 9. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 

Frank Edward Lange was born December 24, 1877, in Germany.  At the age of five he came with his parents to the United States.  The family located in Watertown before coming to Clark County.  He attended rural schools of the county. 

On July 28, 1915, he was married to the former Meta Dux in Neillsville.  Mr. and Mrs. Lange farmed in the Town of Seif for 43 years before moving to Neillsville in 1958.  He had served several terms on the town board and school board.

Mr. Lange is survived by his wife; a son, Harold, of Neillsville Rt. 1; and a daughter, Mrs. Syd (Edna) Tompkins of Neillsville.  Other survivors include four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were: DeWayne and Ted Dux, Robert and Merlin Schoengarth, Louis Albrecht and Bernard Walker.
