Miss Elaine Warnecke of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Warnecke of Kaukauna, and Gerald Jakobi of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jakobi of Loyal, were married at 2 p.m. December 19 at Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The Rev. E. A. Mahnke performed the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a winter white suit and carried orchids.  Mrs. Roger Liebzeit of Greenwood, sister of the groom, was matron-of-honor. She wore a cranberry wool sheath gown and a white carnation corsage.  Bestman was the bride’s brother, Louis Warnecke of Milwaukee.

Following the ceremony a reception and wedding supper was held in Milwaukee. They are employed in Milwaukee, and are residing at 9230 W. Hayes, West Allis.
