Rahn, Henry E. (Resigns as Register of Deeds - 1 JUL 1963)

After serving Clark County as its Register of Deeds for 26 years, Henry E. Rahn has resigned to accept the postion of Auditor and Assistant Administrator of the Memorial Hospital of Neillsville and its $1,039,000.00 newly constructed Senior Nursing Home.  The hospital is the largest in Clark County and the new Senior Nursing home has been built to fill the desperate need for the care of the elderly.  The institution will be one of the largest employers of Clark County.

Henry E. Rahn makes the following statement:

"Effective July 1, 1963, I am submitting my resignation as Register of Deeds of Clark County in order to accept the position of Auditor and Assistant Administrator of the Memorial Hospital of Neillsville and its new constructed Senior Nursing Home.

During the years that I have served as your Register of Deeds, I have made many lasting friendships.  I have enjoyed working for Clark County in the interest of its people.  I wish to thank them for their help and trust in me as their public servant.

I am continuing my interest in the Register of Deeds Office by offering my assistance to the personnel in that office whenever such assistance is desired and I am offering my cooperation to the County Board and to its committees.

In my new position, I will do my best to help the Administrator Mr. Bergemann, the Board of Directors and the hospital staff, maintain an institution that the people of the Neillsville Community and the people of Clark County can continue to be proud of."
