Zassenhaus, Will (21 Oct 1877 - 30 Aug 1914)

 

Will Zassenhaus, a former resident of the town of Green Grove, died at his home in Minneapolis, Minn., Sunday afternoon, August 30th, 1914, of abscess of the brain after an illness of only two days.

 

Deceased was born in Sheboygan County, Oct. 21st, 1877, and the same year his parents moved to Colby, settling on a farm six miles east of this city, where he grew to young manhood.  He served in the Spanish-American War with Co. A of Neillsville.  After the war he went to Minneapolis to work and was married in that city Sept. 12th, 1906 to Miss Anna Miller, who with two sons, his mother, two brothers and four sisters survive to mourn his early death.

 

He was clerk in the Minneapolis post office the past six years, and his fellow clerks acted as his pall bearers at the funeral which was held Tuesday from the residence.  Interment took place in Crystal Lake Cemetery. - Colby Phonograph
