Globe (17 Sept 1914)


Miss Emma Keller of town Pine Valley is working for Mrs. Linus Prock at present.


Mr. and Mrs. Herman Riedel of town Grant called on Mrs. Riedel’s parents, Henry Nemitz and wife, last Sunday.


Mrs. Theo Kalsow and children returned home from Turtle Lake and St. Paul last Saturday.


Eric Schoenherr lost a valuable horse last week.


Rob Manthey and family, Albert Klueckman and family visited Sunday at the home of Albert Kalsow.


Chas. Wegner and Mrs. Rob Schlinkert and baby drove to Greenwood Sunday to visit Claude Westphal and family.  Mrs. Wegner returned home with them after spending some time there.


School commenced here Monday with Ida Piper of Thorp as teacher.


Gus. Grap and family spent Sunday with Henry Nemitz and family.


L. Kaslow and family visited Sunday with G. Mallig and family.


Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Biers returned back from New Lisbon last Saturday.


G. Mallig had a sick horse.  Dr. Schwineier was called out Monday.


Elizabeth Hagedorn did some sewing for Mrs. Scheel last week.


Leo Grap is doing carpenter work for Ferd Grap this week.


Mrs. Roy Mosner called on Mrs. L. Kalsow last Monday.
