Globe (18 February 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler of near Greenwood visited Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow Thursday and were dinner guests.  In the afternoon they visited her father, Theodore Humke, in Memorial Home in Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Herman Dux, Mrs. Jessie Beeckler, Herbert Schoenherr and Kurt Schoenherr of Columbus visited Mr. and Mrs. Leland Northup in Rockford, Ill. Their sister and sister-in-law, Mrs. Northup, was a patient in the Rockford hospital for a few days.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Norman Poppe and sons Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux and Mrs. Hilda Thoma were dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family Sunday.

 

Mrs. Kurt Hediger and son, Mark, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wegner and son were supper guests Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son, Alfred, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Duge and family in Fairchild.

 

Mrs. Herman Dux returned Friday night from Rockford, Ill., where she visited a few days with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Northup.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Volovsek and friend of Greenwood spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuenkel and son.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters attended the funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Mathilda Neinas at Granton.
