A former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, Mrs. Sophia Bjorn, 78, of Marengo, Wis., was returned here for funeral services held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 1.  Services were held at Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Lauri Isaacson officiating.  Burial was made in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were six sons of the deceased, with floral offerings being in charge of Mesdames Ella Kangas, Lily Kile, Grace Finnala, Martha Jensen, June Kangas and Eva Buss.

Mrs. Bjorn’s husband passed away in 1941, but she continued to make her home here until 1958, when she moved to Marengo, where she has since made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Mannisto.
