Huntley, Vernon (12 JUN 1894 - 3 DEC 1913)

Vernon Huntley, the youngest child of George and Mary Huntley was called upon at 6 o’clock Wednesday evening to answer the final summons.  Death resulted from heart trouble, from which he has suffered much the past year, but for the last week only, was confined to his bed.  A young man full of promise, honest and conscientious, only 19 years old last June.  His death comes as a severe blow to his doting parents and beloved brothers and sister, all of whom were with him during the last week of his life and surrounded his bed at the hour of his departure.  Among those left to mourn are his parents, his brother Harmon, Stillman and Milton, and sister Sadie, Mrs. Roy Lawrence, together with their families, Milton alone be unmarried.  The funeral will be held from the Adventist Church tomorrow, Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock.

The family has the sympathy of the entire countryside through this bereavement.
