Livingston, Ella (24 February 1901 - 12 April 1965)

 

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, April 14, in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Angola, Ind., for Mrs. Clarence Livingston, the former Ella Verhagen, who died April 12, following a lingering illness. She was born in Chili February 24, 1901, and received her education there.

 

She married Clarence Livingston in Toledo, O., where they made their home until 18 years ago, when they moved to Ray, Ind.

 

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Robert, Long Beach, Calif.; David, Rockford, Ill.; and a daughter Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Pitts; six grandchildren; a brother, Louis Verhagen of Forest Grove, Ore.; six sisters, Mrs. Richard (Harriett) Downer of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Roland (Marie) Braun of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Roy (Louise) Lindow of Spencer, Mrs. William (Bertha) Nebel of Lake Villa, Ill., Mrs. Edwin (Frances) Fait of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Alvord (Mable) Selk of Spencer.

 

(She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard G. Verhagen on April 1, 1965)
