Krejci, Patricia Ann (Marriage - 8 May 1965)

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville was the setting for the double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon uniting in marriage Miss Patricia Ann Krejci, daughter of Rex Krejci, and Kenneth J. Christie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Christie, all of Neillsville.  The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated.

As the bride approached the altar with her father, who gave her in marriage, she was attired in a full-length gown of French imported Chantilly lace and tulle over taffeta.  A much fitted Basque styled bodice was fashioned with a heart-shaped neckline, trimmed with Swiss lace and sequins.  Long, tapered sleeves buttoned at the wrist. Tiers of imported tulle and panels of lace cascaded from the waist of a very full bouffant skirt, with the back panel cascading into a chapel train. A crown of crystals and pearls held a bouffant cloud veil of English illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet, centered with a lavender orchid and accented with stephanotis and white roses.

Mrs. Arne Eisentraut of Rockford, Ill., attended her sister as matron-of-honor.  Bridesmaid was Miss Linda Zank of Neillsville.

The attendants wore full-length sheath gowns of imported lace over orchid taffeta, the back of the gowns being accented with a large flowing panel of orchid chiffon. Their headpieces with matching face veils were of complimentary color. Their flower arrangements were lavender carnations, accented with lemon leaves and white bows arranged in a cascade bouquet.

The groom’s attendants were Jack Schullo of Minneapolis, as bestman; Devere Krejci as groomsman; and ushers were LeRoy Krejci and Larry Christie.

Kendall Smith sang "The Lord’s Prayer" and "O Perfect Love" accompanied on the organ by Victor Lehmann.

The bride a 1962 graduated of Neillsville High School has been employed in the Clark County Extension office.

The groom was graduated in 1959 from Neillsville High School and is employed as an IBM operator for the Gateway Transfer Co., of La Crosse.
