Neillsville Locals (20 May –1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Chase have purchased the former Ross Paulson home on Division Street in Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Chase are having the house extensively remodeled.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leander Schuld and Mr. and Mrs. George Frei, accompanied by Mrs. Amy Lewerenz, visited Sunday in Eau Claire with Mr. and Mrs. Louie Schmidt and family, son-in-law and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schuld.  Mr. Schmidt, who now is a civil engineer with the state highway department, made his home with the Lewerenz family when he went to high school there.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dux entertained Sunday at their farm home in Pine Valley for their granddaughter, Lynette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Karnitz, who was confirmed Sunday in the Zion American Lutheran Church in Pine Valley by the Rev. Evan Dieck. Dinner and supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Karnitz, Albert Karnitz, Amelia Mattausch of Pine Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Franz and Mrs. Laura Richmond of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Durst and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Karnitz, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Carl and Paula Ringstad of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nitschke and Roger of Granton; Lydia Guenther (any other names were missing.)
