Turner, Lillian (4 January 1907 - August 1965)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. William Turner, 58, of Milwaukee, were held Tuesday forenoon from the Georgas Funeral Home here.  The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold of Greenwood officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Turner, the former Lillian Schlegelmilch, was born January 4, 1907, in Sauk County. She came as a young child with her parents to Clark County. The family located on a farm east of Neillsville.  Mrs. Turner attended the Reed School. Following her schooling she went to Milwaukee to work.

 

She was married in June 1944 to William Turner in Neillsville.  Since their marriage they had resided in Milwaukee. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church there. 

 

She is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schlegelmilch; four sisters, Mrs. Emil (Alice) Kasner of Arpin, Mildred Schlegelmilch and Mrs. Albert (Hazel) Zank, both of Neillsville, and Mrs. Richard (Esther) Clark of Blair; and by a brother, Norbert Schlegelmilch of Neillsville.
