NHS Class of 1955 (10 Year Reunion - 1965)

 

Forty-four members of the class of 1955 of the Neillsville High School held their 10th year reunion Saturday evening at the American Legion Hall.  The class graduated 75.

Jerry Ehlers, president of the class, acted as master of ceremonies.

 

Awards were given to Mr. and Mrs. James Chadwick for the longest marriage; Lt. Marlen Hoesly coming the longest distance; Mr. and Mrs. Benny Urlaub, most children; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wetzel, shortest marriage; William Meier, first registration letter returned; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marty coming the shortest distance; Mr. and Mrs. Benny Urlaub, newest baby.

 

Teachers present were: Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan W. Lauscher, Miss Daphne Beeckler and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hoesly.

 

A period of silent prayer was given for Ronnie Davis, the only deceased member of the class.

 

Mrs. Wayne Trimberger read letters from several members who were unable to attend.
