Trinity Lutheran Church at Loyal was the scene at 2 p.m. Saturday of the wedding of Miss June Haslow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Haslow, Loyal R. 1, and Walter Seeger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Seeger, Kennon. The Rev. John Pfohl officiated at the nuptial rites.

 

Nylon lace over satin composed the bodice of the bride’s gown which featured a sabrina neckline and long pointed sleeves with a floor length bouffant skirt of nylon over satin, ornamented with appliqués of lace. Her fingertip veil was attached tp a [earl and sequin trimmed queen style crown and she carried a shower bouquet of rosebuds, gladioli, carnations and gardenias. She was given in marriage by her father.

 

The bride’s sister, Miss Bertha Haslow, was her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids, was Maxine Seeger, Minneapolis, a sister of the groom, and tow junior bridesmaids were Ellen Haslow, a sister of the bride, and Helen Seeger,a sister of the groom. All of the bride’s attendants, including Shirley Haslow, a sister of the bride, who was flower girl, wore identically styled gowns of waltz length pink nylon net over taffeta. The bodices showed stole effect collars of nylon net and wide taffeta cummerbunds finished in back to include a bow. Each headdress was fashioned of rosebuds and nylon net. Each wore earrings and necklaces of rhinestones; and each carried a crescent shaped arrangement of deep pink and white carnations.

 

Alton Seeger, Jump River, was chosen by the groom, his brother to be best man. Other attendants of thr groom were  Harvey Haslow, a cousin of the bride, Sherbie Mable, Kennon, a cousin of the groom, and Russell Haslow, a brother of the bride. William Haslow and John Bredlau, cousins of the bride, seated guests.

 

Randy Haslow, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

 

Carol Noeldner was organist and Karen Haselow sang, "The Lord’s Prayer’ and "Today, O Lord."

 

A 4 o’clock dinner was served in the parish hall and a reception was held at 8 p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents.

 

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School, and the groom, who is engaged in farming, attended the Phillips High School.

 

A short honeymoon was spent at Rib Mountain. The couple will live in Phillips.
