The Sunshine Club of District No. 2 School met Friday afternoon.  A very interesting program was rendered.  Nina and Laverne Bowman sang an interesting son.  Bertha Durko and Beatrice O’Brien also sang a German song.  Naomi Lawrence read a competition to us which we all enjoyed.  There were several other features of the program which were also interesting.  At our next meeting there will be a school yell and song chosen.  A new program committee was appointed consisting of Lawrence Vandeberg, Naomi Lawrence and Frances Crossett.

The Eighth grade met Friday forenoon and elected members for the purpose of writing interesting parts for a paper.  They will call it "Golden School Hours."  The following are the staff officers: Artist, Carl Diercks, Comic Editor, Frances Crossett, Editor, Irma Rowe, Local Editor, Bertha Diercks, Printer and Manager, Naomi Lawrence, Man on the Corner, Arthur Schaefer, Club Editor, Lawrence Vandeberg and Bertha Diercks taking the part of class historian will write up imaginary and some real history of the members of the class.

It being real cold and roads were badly drifted, only nine faces appeared before the teacher on Monday morning.  Two more ventured out at noon.
