WHITE-KRUEGER RITES HELD AT RIB LAKE JULY 24

On Thursday morning, July 24, at 9 o’clock at St. John’s Catholic church in Rib Lake, Verna Krueger became the bride of Alfred White.  The altar was beautifully decorated with sweet peas and other cut flowers.  The bride wore a white brocaded sheer gown with three quarter length veil.  Her headdress was of white orange blossoms to which her veil was attached.  She carried a mixed bouquet of roses, snapdragons, baby breath.  She was attended by the groom’s sister as maid of honor, Mrs. Dave LaFontaine, and the bride’s sister as bridesmaid, Irene Krueger.  The groom was attended by his brotherinlaw, Dave LaFontaine, as best man, and Maurice Anderson as groomsman.  The choir of the St. John’s Catholic church rendered three hymns.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents after which dinner and supper was served to 100 guests.  A wedding dance was held at Pine Tree ball room at Chelsea.  The bride and groom left on a three day wedding trip to Michigan after which they will be at home in Medford where the groom is employed.
