Klapatauskas, Katherine #3 (4 MAR 1890 - 17 JUN 1960)

 

Mrs. Michael Klapatauskas, 70, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), died early Friday morning, June 17, 1960, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Matt Gregorich in Greenwood where she had been residing for the past eight months.

 

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 20, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard at 10 a.m.  The Rev. Aloysius Madic officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

The former Katherine Jazdouskas was born March 4, 1890 in Lithuania.  Her marriage to Michael Klapatauskas took place on Aug. 24, 1913 in Chicago Heights, Ill.  They operated a farm near Greenwood from 1915 to 1950, when they retired and moved to Willard.  She was a member of the Holy Family Church in Willard.  Her husband died Feb. 10, 1960.

 

Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Matt (Katherine) Gregorich, Greenwood; Mrs. Al (Mary) Fischer, Mrs. Ernest (Stella) Dubinsky, Miss Martha Klapatauskas, Mrs. Matt (Josephine) Wind, Chicago; Mrs. Sam (Frances) Vallone, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Debevec, Willard; and three sons, Julius, Thorp; Michael Jr., Willard, and Charles, Withee.  Also surviving are 32 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

 

Preceding her in death, besides her husband, were two daughters and an infant son.
