Miss Elsie Snyder spent Thanksgiving at her home in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. E. Doughty returned to their home at Grand Rapids Saturday after spending several weeks under the parental roof.

 

Mrs. J. Tremelling and children, Robert Nankivil and Mrs. Nankivil and the C. Altenburg gamily ate Thanksgiving dinner at the John Altenburg home.

 

Miss Elda Helm visited with Lena Kleinschmidt Thursday.

 

Geo. Brooks and family spent Thanksgiving at Chas Brooks’.

 

Miss Pearl Krause left for Ray, S. D., on Friday where she will join her parents and make that place her future home.

 

The Ferd Helm family spent Sunday with John Martin and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Christman and Henry Schlinsog and family were guests at A. Gotter’s Sunday.

 

Max Opelt has a fine supple of Xmas (Christmas) goods on display in his store.

 

Mrs. F. A. Downing who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. R. T. Washburn, left for Grand Rapids Wednesday.

 

A family from Illinois has moved on to the Ben Stubbs place.

 

Miss Wilma Stubbs has returned from Fond du Lac and was calling on old friends in this vicinity.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scholtz visited at E. F. Brooks’ Tuesday.

 

Max Opelt and family, R. Washburn and family, Richard Gotter and family, and Mrs. Downing ate Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. John Martin.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Henning spent Sunday with the John Speiser family.

 

Chas Bladl lost a valuable three year old colt last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Garbush, daughter, Violet and son Les visited at John Speiser’s Sunday evening.
