CHARLES NELSON AND LYNN KNEIZEL MARRIED

Charles Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sigert Nelson of Stevens Point and Miss Lynn Kneizel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kneizel of Antigo were married at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the home of the bride’s parents by the Lutheran minister of Antigo.  The bride was attended by Miss Mabel Miller of Abbotsford, cousin of the groom and the best man was Norbert Meyers, also of Abbotsford.

The bride’s gown was of sky blue taffeta trimmed with beaded flowers and she wore a finger tip veil, while her bridesmaid wore dusty rose taffeta trimmed with maroon velvet.  Dinner was served at 12:30 to a large number of guests, of whom the following were formerly of Spencer:  Mr. and Mrs. Sigert Nelson of Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller and daughter, Mabel and Norbert Meyers of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Darel Griepentrog and daughters, Bernadine and Eunice of Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Griepentrog of Brighton.  Mr. and Mrs. Nelson will be at home in Antigo where he is employed.

Charles is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sigert Nelson who made their home in the village until about four years ago.  He attended high school here and left Spencer in his sophomore year but finished his high school course in Minneapolis.  Spencer wishes the couple much happiness in their married life.
