MARGARET M. FISCHER IS MARRIED ON SEPTEMBER 27

Margaret M. Fischer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fischer of Spencer, and Raymond J. Pankratz, son of mr. and mrs. John Pankratz of Marshfield, were married on Saturday, September 27, 1941, at the Christ the King Catholic church in Spencer, the Rev. Joseph Graf being the celebrant of the Nuptial Mass, which occurred at 9:00 o’clock.

The bride was gowned in a white velveray sheer with train with tiny buttons down the back, sleeves came to point over the hand, fitted waist with lace insert and V neckline.  She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and asters.  Her veil was edged in lace, three tiers of lace on bottom.  The headdress was of orange blossoms and cutwork.  The maid of honor was Miss Dorothy Fischer, sister of the bride and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Berniece Trudeau and Miss Bernice Pankratz, sisters of the bride and groom respectively.

The groom was attended by Ralph Fischer, brother of the bride.  Special decorations in the church consisted of mixed flowers, and at the reception at the home of the parents of the bride, white bells, streamers of white orchid, peach and yellow were used.  There were 125 persons present at the reception.  The table decoration at the dinner consisted of a large wedding cake in the shape of a cross.

The groom is a truck driver for the Hub City Jobbing Co., while the bride has been employed at the Weinbrenner Shoe factory.  They will be at home in Marshfield after October 5.
