Kluckholn, Carolyn Lee (Marriage - 12 August 1967)

Nuptial vows were exchanged in the Merrillan Methodist Church uniting in marriage Miss Carolyn Lee Kluckholn of Rt. 2, Neillsville, and Thomas Dean Zschernitz of Rt. 3, Neillsville. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Cary. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Marion Kluckholn and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zschernitz of rural Neillsville.

Mr. Kluckholn gave his daughter in marriage as Mrs. Louis Marg sang, “O Perfect Love: and “The Lord’s Prayer” accompanied by Karen Holmgren.

For her wedding the bride chose a redingote-effect dress of scalloped Chantilly lace over imported rayon organza and fashioned with a crescent waistline. An oval neckline was encircled with pearls. A bouffant veil billowed from a floral headpiece of Alencon lace, crystals and pearls. She carried a crescent cascade bouquet of pink carnations and white glemellias.

Preceding her to the altar were her attendants, Miss Darlene McCarty of Neillsville as maid of honor, Miss Patricia Kluckholn and Miss Pam LeBeau of Kankakee, Ill., bridesmaids.

Each wore a melon-colored georgette a-line gown with cage effect overskirt. Alencon lace fashioned their fitted bodices. Their small veils were secured to a floral headpiece. Each carried a cluster of yellow glemellias.

Belinda Patchett of Kankakee, Ill., was flowergirl. She wore a dress styled identically to that of the bride.

Ronnie Zank of Neillsville was bestman. Groomsmen were Ted Janicki, Ronnie Oldham and Gary Miller, all of Neillsville. Ushers were Gary Ranney and Eugene Zschernitz.

The bride, a graduate of Neillsville High School, has been employed in a beauty shop in Marshfield. Mr. Zschernitz has employment at the Nelson Muffler plant in Neillsville.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Zschernitz are residing at 400 Clay Street, Neillsville.
