Wolter, Diana (20 May 1961)

Miss Diana Marie Wolter approached the altar on the arm of her father wearing a gown of white silk organza with a lace bodice styled by a Sabrina neckline, as she becomes the bride of Eldred Arthur Schuette, Saturday, May 20 at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Her gown extended into a short chapel train and her finger-tip veil was of silk illusion. She held a cascade bouquet of red roses, white carnations and stephanotis.

Rev. V. A. Ganz officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony which united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wolter and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schuette of Unity. Lou Ann Doehr sang “Today O Lord” and “O Perfect Love” and she was accompanied at the organ by Rebecca Will.

Miss Wolter chose her sister, Joyce, for her maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Jerrold Uhlig, a sister of the groom from Kenosha. The young women wore dresses of pink nylon chiffon and carried colonal bouquets of pink and white carnations.

Acting as best man was Roger Molle of Unity and Jerold Uhlig was the groomsman. Ushering duties were performed by Richard Oestreich and Delbert Schuette.

The bride’s sister, Brenda Lee Wolter and Dean Smith, the groom’s nephew, were the flower girl and ring bearer.

Mrs. Wolter watched her daughter’s wedding in a pink dress with white accessories and the groom’s mother was seen in a beige dress with green accessories.

Following the ceremony the couple greeted their friends and relatives at a reception at the bride’s parents home and a dinner was served at the church dining hall.

Mrs. Schuette is a graduate of Loyal High School and the Accredited School of Beauty Culture at Eau Claire and she is presently employed at Owen Beauty Shop. Her husband is also a graduate of Loyal High School and is engaged in farming. They will make their home on Route 1, Unity.
