OBITUARY OF EDD BOWEN (1877-1938)
Edd BOWEN was born in Columbus, Wisconsin,
June 6, 1877 and passed away at his home at Longwood, Wisconsin,
April 24, 1938, having reached the age of 60 years, 10 months and
18 days.
In 1899 he moved to Longwood with his parents. He was united in
marriage to Dora McCARTY on February 26, 1901. To this union were
born four children.
He is survived by his wife, two sons Howard of Neillsville and
Richard of Longwood two daughters, Lorraine of Chicago and Mrs.
Vernon SHOLTZ of Waukesha and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Wednesday
afternoon, April 27, 1938, and the body was laid to rest in the
Greenwood cemetery, Rev. C. R. GAYLORD officiating.
