SERVICES AT LOYAL FOR FRANK BISHOP


Rites were said at the Loyal Methodist Church for long time Loyal, Clark County resident, Frank Bishop.
Reverend Eugene Carlson conducted the 11 a.m. service on Tuesday, April 6.


Mr. Bishop succumbed at the Colonial Home in Colby on April 3, 1976.  His burial took place in West Spencer Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal was in charge of services.


Mr. Bishop was born at Marinette on May 14, 1891. He was married to Edna Hebert in the Town of Unity on Feb. 24, 1921. She preceded him in death on Aug. 12, 1973. He was a member of the United Methodist church, Loyal.


During his lifetime he worked as a brakeman and conductor. He farmed 18 years in the Loyal area. In 1940 he moved to Riplinger and worked for Cheese Box Co. In 1944 he moved to Marshfield and worked for Roddis (now Weyerhauser) 17 years. In 1961 he moved to Loyal, was janitor of the Methodist Church while in Loyal.


The following survived him: three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Fern) Schultz, Route 1, Loyal Mrs. Keith (Shirley) Zinsli, Spencer and Mrs. Edward (Glenda) Olstinski, Route 3, Greenwood one son, Verle Bishop, Beach, N.D. one sister, Mrs. Mary Smith, Wauwatosa, Wis. 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. One son, nine brothers, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter preceded him in death.


Mrs. Byron Zepplin was the organist and Miss Connie Smith sang Beyond the Sunset and In the Garden . Pallbearers were Richard and Robert Schultz, Jon and Scott Zinsli, John Weis, and Bart Bishop.
