HENRY HORN


GREENWOOD--Henry Horn, 81, Route 3, Greenwood, (town of Longwood, Clark County), died about 1:15 A.M. Thursday Jan. 11, 1979 at Neillsville Memorial Home.


Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Larry Davis will officiate and burial will be in the Braun Settlement Cemetery.


Friends may call at Rinka Funeral Home after 2 P.M. today and after 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the church.


Mr. Horn was born Dec. 9, 1897 in the town of Longwood and was married to Mary Woepse Oct. 4, 1922 in Longwood Township.


He received his education at Braun Settlement School and farmed all his life in the town of Longwood, retiring in 1962. They observed their 55th wedding anniversary in 1977. He was director of Greenwood Milk Products for many years and served on the town board. He was a Farm Bureau member and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.


Surviving are his wife two sons, Donald and Lloyd, both of Route 3, Greenwood a daughter, Mrs. Verne (LaVerne) Vollrath, Janesville two brothers, Hubert of Greenwood and Ervin of Minneapolis a sister, Mrs. Tillie Poppe, Memorial Home, Neillsville 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


He was predeceased by a son a, two sisters and four brothers.


Pallbearers will be Darrel, Gerald, Herbert and Kenneth Horn, Art Hendrickson and Jerold Kuester.
