OBITUARY OF FRANK RAIK, JR.

Frank Raik, Jr., son of Frank and Antonia Raik, was born in Silver Springs, New York, on August 12, 1908. When he was two years old he moved with his parents to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. IN 1920, at the age of 12, the family came to Greenwood, and settled on the farm his parents are now residing on. He spent the rest of his boyhood days on the farm and attending the Decker school.

In 1926 he went to Cleveland, Ohio, where he has made his home ever since. He worked two years in the Willard Storage Battery Company and from then until the time of his death for the Fischer Body Company.

He was united in marriage to Miss Albins Maro on August 8, 1936 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cleveland. Mr. Raik had reached the age of 31 years and 7 days when he passed away Saturday evening, August 19, 1939 of high blood pressure, infected liver and kidneys.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, August 23, 1939, at t 9:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cleveland, Ohio, Rev. Father Hrebar officiated.

He is survived by his wife and four month old son, Frank, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raik, Sr. of Greenwood, Wis., two brothers, Louis and Joseph two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Josephine) Peterson and Mrs. Alex (Donna) Moldenhauer, both of Greenwood, Wis. Three sisters preceded him in death.

Those from here who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Raik Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. John Putzel.
