DONALD KIPPENHAN


Donald Kippenhan, 60, a resident of Memorial Home, Neillsville, for two years, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 1976, at 8 a.m., at the Neillsville Memorial Home.


Funeral Services for Donald Kippenhan were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Officiating at the ceremony was Rev. Larry Davis. Mrs. Alvin Albert was the organist, and burial was made in the West Side Cemetery.


Donald Kippenhan was born on Oct. 14, 1916, in the Town of Mead to Edwin and Lena Reinhart. He received his education in the Town of Mead and was never married. He worked for Plautz Brothers for about five years, he was a driver of a grader for the county for a number of years, and spent his last five years doing farm work.


He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Malinda) Hintz, Milwaukee, and two brothers, George, Greenwood, and Calvin, Appleton.


Pallbearers were Jake Barr, Ervin Toburen, Norman Liebzeit, Arvin Liebzeit, Ervin Geisler and Larry Hintz.


He was preceded in death by one sister and his parents.


Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Kippenhan, Donald (14 October 1916 – 23 October 1976)

Donald Kippenhan, 60, died October 23 at Memorial Home in Neillsville where he had resided for two years.

Mr. Kippenhan was born October 14, 1916, in the Town of Mead. He received his education in the Town of Mead and worked for Plautz Bros. for about five years. He also worked for Clark County, driving a grader for a number of years. The past five years he was engaged in farm work.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Linda) Hintz of Milwaukee, and two brothers, George of Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Calvin of Appleton.

Funeral services were held October 26 from Immanuel united Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Larry Davis pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery.

Pallbearers wee Jake Barr, Erwin Toburen Norman and Arvin Liebzeit, Ervin Geisler and Larry Hintz.

The adult choir sang, with Mrs. Alvin Albert organist.
